The Recruitment
ProcessSTAGE 1: ATHLETE EVALUATION
In order to begin the process you must first complete our free online application form. If the initial review of your application is successful we will contact you for a phone interview. After which we will arrange a date to watch the athlete or request video footage. If after these steps the athlete has shown sufficient promise a face to face or telephone interview will be arranged with both the athlete and their parents. The NAC has unique assessment criteria in which the athlete will be reviewed in 3 primary fields including athletics, academics and most importantly attitude. Providing The NAC, athlete and parents are happy at this point and the athlete meets the required standards they will then be invited for a place onto the program along with 5 years of assistance from the NAC.
STAGE 2: ATHLETE DEVELOPMENT & MARKETING
Once the athlete has been accepted onto the program the NAC will begin working with them to help them develop in areas including athletic, academic and attitude mindset. We build a C.V and profile of the athlete in order to sufficiently market them to prospective coaches and universities that fit the athletes profile and preferences. The NAC will work with the athlete in order for them to capture the required video footage. The athlete will be required to follow a fitness and strength program built around their current sporting commitments. The athlete will be expected to meet the programs standards throughout the process. The athlete will be expected to take part in a minimum of one monthly catch up with their personal advisor via telephone or faceto-face. This will include close monitoring of the progress of the athletes athletics and academics. The NAC will also begin work on ensuring the individual is registered for their SAT exams and help provide them with sufficient study material. The registration process to either the NCAA or NAIA clearinghouses will also begin to ensure the athlete is cleared to play upon arrival.
STAGE 3: OFFER CONFIRMATION
Now the fun begins The athlete has met all requirements throughout the representation and marketing process and has received a minimum of one suitable scholarship offer. The NAC will sit down with the athlete to help them decide which offer is best to choose if receiving multiple offers. The next step is to help the indiviual apply for the required visa’s to allow them entry into the states. This will include helping book and prep for an interview date to the U.S embassy. The NAC will then work with the athlete and their family to arrange suitable travel arrangements and insurance. After all of this is completed you are ready to begin your journey!
STAGE 4: ONGOING SUPPORT
If for any reason the athlete or family is experiencing any sort of problems, difficulty or hardships the NAC will give continuous ongoing support, advice and any help it can offer. Everyone involved with the consultancy has been through the process as either athlete or parent and knows first hand that there can be some difficult times. This goes for both athletes and parents! If the athlete has attended a two year junior college and are now looking for advice on where to transfer for their third year the NAC will be on hand to help.
STAGE 5: AFTERCARE
Once the athlete has graduated after their 4 years of playing the NAC will be there to assist them if the athlete wishes. This includes working closely with recruitment partners here in the UK to help the athlete gain interviews and employment at prestigious global organizations so they can begin their graduate careers in their chosen fields. We will also help advise those wishing to stay in the states as well as those wishing to attend graduate school. If the athlete has excelled to an elite level of playing we will introduce them to relevant contacts that can assist in attaining a professional contract.
