Why Choose
The National Athlete Consultancy?Michael Ellis formed The NAC because he felt that other agencies were letting athletes and parents down with false promises and heavily overpriced fees, with some agencies charging in excess of £4,000 and providing poor preparation. There is no other agency that offers a more cost effective offering to it’s athletes.
The NAC is unique in the fact firstly that it aims to develop its athletes both on and off the field with personal mentoring and self-development. Secondly, it is very selective as to which individuals it decides to work with offering limited spaces each year on the program.
This allows The NAC to get to know each athlete personally, ensuring that all athletes it represents receive the highest level of dedication and attention in order to successfully guide them through the recruitment process.
The NAC’s unique selection process includes the assessment of an athlete in three primary areas including academic ability, athletic ability and most important attitude. Individuals who may lack certain athletic ability will still be considered if displaying strong academics and a strong mental attitude.
Once an athlete has been accepted onto the program The NAC will make use of its network of contacts to secure athletes financial offers. Unlike other consultancies and agencies that simply work with the athletes up until the recruitment process is over, The NAC will work with the athlete for a five-year period. This will include any ongoing support or advice while in the U.S as well as a unique aftercare post-graduation support system. The NAC has close ties with several recruitment partners spanning across the UK. Once the athlete has graduated The NAC will work with them to help secure interviews and jobs with prestigious companies allowing them to start new graduate careers in their desired field. We will also help make the necessary arrangements and introductions for those athletes pushing on into professional competition.
